Copywriter Intern

The Copywriter Intern supports the creative team in the generation of voice and tone of print and digital elements of all communication vehicles.

An Intern Copywriter embodies Agency Creative’s brand and guiding “I OWN IT” (IOI) principles.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Contributes to the highest level of tone and voice in creative execution
  • Supports the conceptual development of multiple projects in the client’s brand voice
  • Listens and incorporates creative feedback from creative team and senior leaders
  • Collaborates with creative team to execute projects
  • Adheres to creative direction and timelines based on the project brief and creative criteria
  • Articulates creative work to creative leadership supporting the creative strategy
  • Assists with mock-ups and/or preparing presentations at various stages of creative development
  • Provides support to functional areas focusing on strategic objectives and consistent delivery of the creative product through the IOI principles.
  • Fosters strong collaboration
  • Supports the agency’s submission for awards
  • Adheres to the stated process and procedures of our company
  • Completes a daily timesheet
  • Attention to detail and passion for good work

Skills and Abilities:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program and pursuing a degree in english, journalism, advertising or related field
  • Organized
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within short time frames
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Good listening skills and sense of humor
  • Ability to effectively articulate conceptual thinking
  • Ability to work both independently and/or as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail, reliably and great energy
