Agency Creative provides Nonprofit Branding Initiative for Heart for Cambodia Ministries

Agency Creative recently completed an integrated nonprofit branding campaign for Heart for Cambodia, a mission organization near and dear to the heart of our president, Mark Wyatt.

“Heart for Cambodia is an indigenous ministry focused on spreading the gospel and improving infrastructure in the rural villages of Cambodia,” said Wyatt, “It’s the vision of my good friend and native Cambodian, Chiv In.”

Chiv’s story is compelling. He had narrowly escaped the relentless reign of the Khmer Rouge when he was only a teenager. Many of Chiv’s family and friends lost their lives in the Khmer Rouge’s brutal Killing Fields. Three decades later, Chiv, now living in Carrolton, TX shared with his pastor the burden that he felt for his fellow Cambodians.

That year, Chiv returned to Cambodia with a team of men from his church. Among them was Agency Creative’s founder Mark Wyatt.

“Cambodia is a strange mixture of lush natural beauty and dense spiritual darkness,” explains Wyatt, “In many ways, these people are still living under the shadow of that oppressive regime.”

During that trip, Chiv was reunited with his sister after 30 years apart. He shared with her and her friends the story of his conversion to Christ. His sister insisted that Chiv share this message of hope and redemption with other Cambodians. That day Heart for Cambodia was born. Today, this church planting ministry has established five young churches throughout the jungles and backroads of this beautiful little Southeast Asian country.

Wyatt has returned to the villages of Cambodia several times with Chiv where he functioned as both photographer, videographer and moral support. These beautiful and often poignant photos that Wyatt captured have become the foundation of this integrated branding campaign.

The nonprofit branding campaign elements include logo development, brand identity system, tagline and a responsively designed website that works on desktop computers and automatically reformats to mobile devices. The dynamic bilingual website even offers a page in the Cambodian alphabets for native Cambodians.

“Agency Creative did an outstanding job,” remarked Chiv, founder of Heart for Cambodia. “Thanks to them we are able to more effectively shine our light in a world of darkness.”
