Account Supervisor

Responsibilities and essential job functions for the Account Supervisor include:
Client Relations
- Liaising with and acting as the day-to-day link between the client and the agency by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring an effective communication flow
- Has a thorough understanding of the client/agency contract, scope of work by project, budgets and overall communications to lead projects accordingly
- Has an understanding of advertising, digital, and media industry trends/developments and uses this knowledge to present business building ideas for the client and the agency
- Manages project proposals/timelines, budgets, advertising and media plans; gaining client approval prior to initiation of work
- Identifies and tracks success metrics and program performance measures to evaluate program effectiveness and to integrate into future initiatives
- When possible, represent AC at industry events and trade shows to identify prospective clients and employees while displaying a professional manner and appearance
- Develops and oversees management of annual budgets for clients. Ensures proactive communication of client budget status on a monthly basis and overall budget actuals at the end of each fiscal year
Project Leadership
- Manages development of project proposals/timelines, budgets, advertising and media plans with oversight from leadership team
- Plans the execution of deliverables, activities, budgets, and deadlines for creative campaigns and individual client projects
- Primary lead on fiscal management for accounts, develops monthly revenue forecast and P&L statements across individual accounts
- Reviews, brainstorms and evaluates creative ideas/output to ensure that work meets brand and project strategies/objectives, client demand, and the agency’s IOI principles
- Ensures Agency Creative has comprehensive and strategic creative briefs to efficiently initiate work
- Manages all administrative duties including: weekly status reports, project documentation, client billing, and internal job management — including development/publishing of conference reports
- Plans and executes internal meetings, partner and client meetings (i.e. creative kickoffs, brand immersions, weekly client meetings, project post mortems), etc.
- Adheres to the stated process and procedures of the company
- Completes daily timesheets
Skill and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university (preferably in marketing, advertising or related field)
- Minimum of 5+ years advertising agency experience
- Must have industry-specific knowledge: familiarity with agency terminology, processes, and emerging/relevant technology and social/media channels
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to influence and manage others
- Results oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadline
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail, reliably and great energy
- Knowledge of marketing program development and implementation
