Lightbeam is a technology company serving clients in the healthcare industry. Lightbeam’s mission is to provide population health management (PHM) solutions that will help improve quality of care and therefore quality of life.
As leaders in population health technology, Lightbeam has developed the optimal platform used by ACOs, hospitals, providers and others who are looking to shift from the traditional fee-for-service approach to the newer value-based care model. By identifying, aggregating and unlocking the true value of patient data, Lightbeam’s platform provides the guidance to provide the right care at the right time while reducing costs and delivering outstanding financial results. These benefits notwithstanding, Lightbeam’s messaging did not reflect their market leadership position, nor did it clearly differentiate the company from the competition. There was a clear opportunity to revamp the organization’s message platform to showcase their unique technology platform, while rooting it within their decades of experience in the healthcare category.
We first created a brand positioning strategy to communicate the fact that Lightbeam is the only end-to-end population health management platform in healthcare today, while promoting the company as the safest and surest way forward given the market shift from fee-for-service to value-based care. We then created a cohesive message that guided the brand voice and tone, clearly establishing Lightbeam as the foremost experts in PHM today. Once the foundation was created, we developed and executed an integrated healthcare software marketing campaign including print advertising, collateral, social media, trade show marketing, and more. We also redesigned and built a new lead generating website in the effort to leverage the new voice and provide a better visitor experience. The new healthcare software marketing campaign was launched in March 2020.

We’re still in the early stages of the campaign, but the initial stats are already showing promise. The marketing efforts in place have significantly improved Lightbeam’s visibility and perception in the market, and clients are responding positively to the new message.
